The Kiwanis Club recently gathered for a truly special occasion, a surprise celebration honoring longtime member Greg Perry and his remarkable 50 years of dedicated service.
Unbeknownst to Greg, the event was thoughtfully planned to recognize his extraordinary commitment to the club. When the moment arrived, he was welcomed with appreciation, admiration, and a room full of friends ready to celebrate this incredible milestone.
Greg was honored with a commemorative certificate and presented with his official 50 year Kiwanis pin, recognizing a quarter century of commitment, leadership, and community impact. Notably, Greg’s tenure has been defined by his impeccable 100% attendance record, a rare and extraordinary demonstration of consistency, reliability, and dedication to the club.
This memorable event was brought together by Kevin Craw, who served as Master of Ceremonies and led a heartfelt and engaging program. A beautiful and thoughtful slideshow was created by Michael and Mary Anne Franco and presented by Greg Chann, highlighting Greg’s years of service and the many moments that have defined his Kiwanis journey.
Adding to the celebratory atmosphere, Carol Boehly coordinated the balloons, cake, and party preparations, including the cake décor, creating a warm and festive setting for the occasion.
The celebration was made even more meaningful with Greg’s wife in attendance, along with past members and friends who came together to honor this milestone. The room was filled with gratitude and admiration for all that Greg has contributed to the club and the broader community over the years.
