The Kiwanis Club of Wilton is the longest established service organization in Wilton, CT. We support organizations in need, with an emphasis on children. We raise funds, distribute contributions, and lead community building service activities to enhance our Town and surrounding areas. Through a common sense of purpose and meaningful service lasting friendships are formed. And, we make Wilton a better place to live and work.

  • Check Presentation – September 11th 2024

    Kiwanis Club Check Presentation to Ms. President US – 9/11/24

    On September 11, 2024, Wilton Kiwanis was pleased to present a check in the amount of $3,500 to Ms. President US, represented by Amanda Cordano, Executive Director of Ms. President US, and Muskaan Kalra, this year’s Ms. President Wilton, to sponsor the Ms. President US bus trip to Hartford, Connecticut, where the middle school club members will experience Government in Action first hand.

    Ms President US is a nonpartisan nonprofit dedicated to motivating and preparing girls to aim for the highest civic leadership positions.  Through the Ms. President US program, girls in fourth through eighth grades learn about public speaking, diplomacy and listening skills, local, state and federal government, and women’s history while having an opportunity to meet and learn from exemplary female leaders.  The program culminates with a campaign and election for Ms. President US.  The girls prepare their campaigns which address at least one issue (for example, school start times, anti-bullying, social media).  The winner is invited to accompany their First Selectperson at appearances and speaking engagements throughout the year until the next Ms. President US is elected.

    Together with Ms. President US, we continue to inspire future generations to embrace leadership roles and make a lasting impact.

  • Check Presentation – September 6th 2024

    Wi-ACT’s Rise Against Hunger Meal Packaging Event 10/19/2024

    Wi-ACT’s Rise Against Hunger Meal Packaging Event 2024 will take place on Saturday, October 19th.  The work is done in two hour shifts:  9-11 am, 11-1 pm, 1-3 pm, and 3-5 pm.  Wilton Kiwanis is pleased to help fund the purchase of ingredients for the meal packages.  If you would like to sign up to volunteer at the event,  Click Here

    Hundreds of children are fed with what we package each year, and they’re fed for an entire year in educational settings where they are nourished in mind as well as in body. Each volunteer is also asked to bring a non perishable item for local food pantries.

    Check Presentation to Wilton Candlelight Concerts

    Wilton Kiwanis was pleased to present this check to Magdalen Livesey, President of Wilton Candlelight Concerts for piano rental during their upcoming season. Candlelight Concerts are a very important part of Wilton’s history and culture. The concerts at the Wilton Congregational Church bring world class artists right into our community. The venue is beautiful, there is no long drive and there is hassle-free no cost parking. It doesn’t get better than that.
