Bishop Gibson will share updates on the newly completed Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meetinghouse in Wilton — from its design and vision to how it will serve both its congregation and the wider community.
This exciting new space symbolizes growth, unity, and the enduring values of service and connection that strengthen Wilton’s community spirit. Join us as Bishop Gibson shares the story behind the project, the inspiration guiding it, and how it will provide opportunities for fellowship and outreach in the years ahead.

Come see the new building, learn more about its purpose, and meet members of the congregation who call it home.
This long-anticipated project marks a significant moment for local members and the wider Wilton community, emphasizing growth, unity, and faith in action. Join us to hear how this new house of worship will serve not only as a spiritual center but also as a beacon for collaboration, inclusion, and community service.

About Bishop Brad Gibson

Chief Credit & Compliance Officer, IBM
Brad Gibson currently serves as Bishop of the Wilton Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, while also holding the position of Chief Credit and Compliance Officer at IBM, headquartered in Armonk, New York.
A graduate of the University of Utah with a degree in Finance, Brad’s professional career with IBM spans over four decades and multiple continents. He has held a variety of senior leadership roles including Chief Financial Officer for the AP Systems Group in Tokyo, Director of Finance & Operations in Somers, NY, and Vice President of Finance & Operations and CIO in Southbury, CT. His current role focuses on global credit management, compliance, and operational excellence within IBM’s corporate structure.
In his church service, Brad has been a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since his baptism in 1970. He has served in numerous leadership roles over the years, including Stake Young Men’s President, Ward Young Men’s President, Stake High Councilor, Bishopric Counselor, Elder’s Quorum President, Sunday School and Primary teacher, and since 2021, as Bishop of the Wilton Ward.
Beyond his professional and church commitments, Brad enjoys spending time with family, serving and helping others, traveling, basketball, politics, and downhill skiing. He is known for his strong personal values and guiding principles, which include:
