We are thrilled to welcome Alvaro M. Garavito, EMT-P, Executive Director of the Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps (WVAC), as our guest speaker at the Kiwanis Club of Wilton meeting next Wednesday, January 28!
Serving our community since 1976, WVAC provides 24-hour emergency medical care, 365 days a year, responding to more than 1,800 calls annually. Staffed by a dedicated team of certified EMTs, EMRs, and paramedics, WVAC plays a vital role in keeping Wilton safe—often during life’s most critical moments. Their work is fueled by compassion, commitment, and an incredible spirit of volunteerism.
We are excited to hear from Alvaro about the lifesaving services WVAC provides, the people behind the scenes who make it all possible, and the incredible impact this organization has on our town every single day. This promises to be an informative, inspiring, and meaningful presentation that highlights what community service truly looks like in action.
