Vance Hancock has been practicing law for 40 years in the areas of Trusts and Estates, Tax and Business law.
A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Vance attended Yale, receiving a BA in Economics and Cornell Law School, where he received his Doctor of Laws degree. Vance has also received an LLM from Villanova University in Tax.
Vance has represented businesses as both outside counsel and inhouse counsel in the areas of banking law, contracts, procurement, export law and tax. Vance has represented individuals principally in the area of business transition and trusts and estates.
Vance has served on the board of The Discovery Museum and has been a member of the Region 9 Board of Education, serving as Chairman from 2015 – 2017.
Vance lives in Easton with his wife Nancy. They have three grown children.
