Bruce A. Cruikshank was born and grew up in Norwalk, CT.  He received his BS from UCONN and his MBA from Iona College.  Following college, he worked in various positions at Burndy Corporation., then at Sealed Air Corporation.  Bruce retired from Sealed Air in 2001 as a Senior Vice President and President of their Engineered Products Division.  He obtained several patents for Sealed Air, one of which is the absorbent pad used in the meat and chicken industry. 

Following retirement, Bruce volunteered at the Norwalk Maritime Aquarium and has actively pursued his mechanical interests.  To date, he’s restored six vintage cars, as well as several boats.  His most recent restoration is a 1969 Porsche 911S.  He also greatly enjoys travel, as well as paddle tennis and golf.

Bruce has enjoyed boats since his childhood and remains an active boater.  He and his wife have lived in Silvermine for 54 years, where they raised their two children.  Currently, they are blessed to have their four grandchildren in the area.
