Kiwanis Club of Wilton Welcomes Guest Speaker Dearta Logu Fusaro: The Illyrian Way

The Kiwanis Club of Wilton is delighted to welcome Dearta Logu Fusaro as our guest speaker on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. A local writer and finance leader, Dearta leads the Project Management Office at ASML Wilton. She and her husband, Justin, a member of our club, have called Wilton home since 2013. The couple grew up in New York City and Rhode Island and met in Washington, D.C.

Dearta’s debut book, The Illyrian Way, is a travel memoir exploring heritage, landscape and belonging. Her presentation will take us through a three-month journey with Justin across seven countries of the Western Balkans, including approximately 435 miles of walking. Through mountain trails, historic villages and meaningful encounters, she explores her Albanian heritage and the connections that shape our sense of home. Join us at WEPCO Parish Hall, from 12:15 to 1:30 PM, as we welcome Dearta for an afternoon of adventure and discovery.
