The Kiwanis Club of Wilton was proud to present a $500 contribution to the Wilton Memorial Day Parade Committee in support of this year’s Memorial Day Parade and ceremonies.
Presented by Mary Anne Franco, Chair of the Kiwanis Contributions Committee, the donation helps support the expenses involved in organizing one of Wilton’s most meaningful and longstanding community traditions.
The Memorial Day Parade serves as a powerful tribute to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Each year, the event brings together veterans, families, local organizations, and residents from across the community to honor and remember those who gave their lives in the line of duty.
The check was presented to Jim Newton, Chair of the Wilton Memorial Day Parade Committee, in recognition of the tremendous work done by Jim and his committee to make this important event possible year after year.
The Kiwanis Club of Wilton is honored to support programs and events that strengthen our community and preserve the traditions that make Wilton such a special place to live.
