Join us for spontaneous laughter with a performance by Wilton High School's improv troupe, Freeplay, directed by WHS English teacher and Second City Conservatory alumni Heather DeLude and improv comedy professional and ComedySportz NYC owner Glenn Packman. With a cast and crew of over fifty students, there is something for everyone in Freeplay! Now in its eleventh year, Freeplay is a structured improvisational performance similar to the popular television show Whose Line is it Anyways? Students spend weeks preparing only to never really know what will tickle the funny bone until they have an audience. Don’t miss the opportunity to attend this festival fest of fun based on your suggestions! There just might be the next Amy Poehler or Steve Carrell in the mix!
Rock n' Rescue is a 501c3 non profit located soon in Bedford Hills NY - they specialize in rescuing pets (mostly cats and dogs) to rescue people. They offer off site and on site therapy programs for all ages.
Jenn is a graduate of Trinity College (CT) where she earned a BA in Women's Studies and Public Policy. While at Trinity, she was captain of the Women's Rowing Team and First Team-All American. Jenn has 16 years of non-profit fundraising experience in secondary and higher education. Jenn joined Filling in the Blanks as the first ever Director of Development in January 2024. She is excited to continue to build a culture of philanthropy and is passionate about making a lasting impact in our communities.
At Filling in the Blanks, we believe no child should have to worry about their next meal. We exist to break the cycle of poverty so that children can lead full, safe, and healthy lives. We aim to reduce the stigma around seeking help and to alleviate hunger by raising awareness about food insecurity.
Eleven years ago, Filling in the Blanks started as a simple program- to provide children in need with nutritious meals on the weekends. In an effort to remove barriers, we deliver food directly to the schools, after school programs, and camps. What began as a small operation with 50 children in one school in Stamford has grown to delivering meals to 8,400 children at over 220 schools across Fairfield and Westchester Counties every weekend.
